Wedding Piping

Having grown up only six miles from Gretna Green in the Scottish borders, I am no stranger to a wedding or two!

I have a great deal of experience being a wedding piper and played the bagpipes at weddings for over 25 years. I’ve piped at weddings of all sizes from ten people to hundreds.

No wedding is complete without a traditional Scottish piper and hiring a piper for your wedding offers you that extra touch to make your wedding even more memorable. Perhaps you’d like me to pipe the couple into the venue – popular pipe tune choices include ‘Highland Cathedral’ and ‘Scotland the Brave’, but I have a large repertoire and if I don’t know the tune you’re after, I’ll be happy to learn it in time for your wedding day.

Maybe you’d like a more complete package where I can also join you at your reception and entertain the guests, or entertain the wedding guests while the photographs are being taken.

I can also provide additional services such as having the accompaniment of drums. I have lots of experience playing alongside traditional Scottish side drummers as well as South Asian Dhol drummers. This can be added to any part of your day to accompany me on the pipes to add something even more special for your event, you can enter your wedding in true style!
