New Years’ Eve Piping

A New Years Eve celebration wouldn’t be complete without the sound of the bagpipes to bring in the new year. In Scotland we call it Hogmanay and it is very traditional to have a piper to play ‘Auld Lang Syne’ at midnight as the clock strikes 12, followed by a set of tunes to get everyone up and dancing such as ‘Scotland the Brave’, ‘Flower of Scotland’ and ‘Caledonia’.

Depending on your event however, it might fit in better to have the bagpiper play as your guests arrive or as they are seated down for their meal. Prices for a New Years Eve event start at £250 depending on the location and length of the event. Get in touch to discuss your event and how the bagpipes can be fitted into your evening (or daytime) celebrations.
