Wedding piper
I offer a bespoke wedding piping package to suit your needs and your budget. With prices starting at only £175 I can tailor my service exactly to your needs. A basic wedding package would include me travelling to your venue of choice, piping the bride down the aisle before the ceremony and then piping the couple back out of the venue (perhaps also into the grounds for photographs). In addition to this I could play a couple of tunes while the photographs are being taken (to entertain the guests), joining you later to play you into the reception meal or playing while the couple drive off in the wedding cars. Of course with each wedding being unique I will work with the couple to plan a service that will make your special day even more memorable.
Funerals and memorial services
When a loved ones life ends it is important to mark their passing. To help remember their final journey, the rousing sound of the bagpipes can add an emotional addition to the day. I could follow the coffin to the grave, or play a favourite tune as part of the funeral service. As with all my services I can arrange a unique package.
Robert Burns’ nights
It goes without saying that no Burns night would be complete without a traditional highland piper to pipe the haggis into the room. The traditional tune “A man’s a man for a’ that” is generally played to welcome the star attraction from the kitchen and then playing later in the evening to entertain the guests is customary. Corporate events, parties and everything else!
Having played the bagpipes for many years I have experience piping at many different types of events from the usual such as New Years celebrations, birthday parties and wedding entrances, to the more unique such as playing the bagpipes at corporate events and on film and TV!
