April 2013 - Chris the Piper

Really pleased to be invited back to play at The Hive’s Street Party in Shrewsbury, Monday 6th May! I will be playing at regular intervals throughout the day so you can catch me along with loads of other musicians, activities and workshops. Last year was great fun, this year will surely be better, hope I can see you there!

Chris played at my Mom's funeral today. He led us down into the crematorium and piped as we walked in. He then played again as we left at the end... read more of the service. 3 different tunes , all absolutely wonderful. Lots of comments from people paying their respects to Mom about how lovely it was to hear the piper. There were certainly extra tears as the bagpipes were being played but what a fantastic Mom send off. Thank you Chris.

Chris piped at our Wedding in Warwick in October 2021 and he was such a great addition to our day! He looked the part, he sounded absolutely brilliant and he... read more played all of the tunes that we’d requested. We just can’t wait for another special occasion when we can hire him again!
